What we do:
- We work with
artists, producers and A&R while tracks are being recorded to ensure
that interpolated and sampled material is clearable and affordable;
- We listen to
tracks to detect interpolations and samples
which may be unreported or inadvertent;
- We clear
interpolations and samples;
- We clear master
and publishing rights for film, TV, commercials, DVD and digital uses,
including downloads, interactive and non-interactive streaming and
wireless delivery and ringtones, as well as for audio compilations;
- We draft and negotiate artist, publishing, management and other entertainment
and intellectual property agreements;
- We register musical compositions and master recordings with
performing rights
societies
and Sound Exchange;
- We register and file copyright documents.
